Frank Weinand is a partner in the Corporate practice group.  He works at the Brussels and Luxembourg offices where he handles mergers and acquisitions as well as matters of international commercial law.

Frank supervises a team specialized in legal matters conducted in German and works in close cooperation with our partners from Osborne Clarke in the Cologne and Munich offices.  This interdisciplinary team, made up of more than eight German-speaking lawyers, is unique in Belgium and Luxembourg.  It meets growing demands in very diverse legal matters such as acquisitions, not-for-profit organizations, company reorganizations, distribution or real-estate law.

Furthermore, Frank is member of various associations including CEPANI, the chamber of arbitration of the Belgian Federation of Enterprises, and is trained as mediator in civil and commercial matters.

Frank obtained his law degree in 1984 (Université Catholique de Louvain) and was admitted to the Brussels Bar the same year.  He joined De Wolf & Partners in 2000 and, since then, has continuously developed the firm’s international activities.  He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2006.

Frank is Managing Partner of the firm since February 2010.
