Yves Stans is an associate in the Commercial practice group. He works at the Brussels office.
After having lived one year in Australia as an exchange student, Yves started law school at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel to graduate in 2003. In 2004, Yves obtained with honours the title of Master in International Legal Studies organized by the Università di Verona (It) in collobaration with the Università Statale di Milano (It).
Before starting his career as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar (Dutch section) in 2005, Yves worked in the family business.
Yves specializes in international commercial contracts, with an emphasis on distribution contracts, and has published articles on international arbitration. Yves is also active in litigation matters and speaks Dutch, French, English, Italian and German.
Yves joined De Wolf & Partners in July 2009 where he collaborates with Stefan Deswert.
