Ava Tu is an associate at the Shanghai office.

She mainly focuses her practice on legal aspects of foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property and labour-related disputes.  She regularly negotiates, drafts and reviews commercial contracts, represents clients before the labour arbitration committee and local court.

Ava first joined De Wolf & Partners as a trainee in 2009.  After obtaining her master's degree from one of the most reputable law schools of China in 2010, she has practised as an associate of our Shanghai team.  Ava’s major is international economic law.  She passed the China Bar Examination in 2008.

Before joining De Wolf & Partners, Ava Tu worked for China branches of a multinational company and a renowned international bank as a legal trainee for two years.
